This is something you typically see on the camino Frances route. A group of "touristico pilgrims" pose for the camera.
We actually met them the day before when they sauntered over to albergue in Cea from their Casa Rural they were staying at in order to get a stello or stamp for their pilgrim passport. We saw them again in Oseria wearing fresh clothes and clean shoes carrying children sized day packs.
Not sure where they went to next but best guess was to the tourist bus waiting nearby.
Spent last night in the albergue at the MONASTERIO CISTERCIENSE DE SANTA MARIA DE OSEIRA. It is situated in the tiny hamlet of Oseira about 9 km north of Cea. The albergue was very basic with cold to cool showers and no heat, so everybody had 2-3 blankets on top of their sleeping bags trying to stay warm during the night.
We spent a couple of extra days in Ourense checking out some of the termes this city is famous for.
Today we went to Termas Outariz (termasoutariz.com/) which proved the better of the two termes.
Well worth the walk out there but we took the little tourist train back to the city centre.
